The whole is too big

It’s out of our view

We are at the center of a circle

And the horizon is our view

In order to seek truth

We deduce the world into two

A controlled experiment is a deduction

It aims to see a small slice of life from a more precise point of view

in order to better understand the whole

One slice turns to two and two into four

Too many slices and our life begins to fold

And now we become blind

as our minds are blocked by the fear

that divides the unknown into known

A controlled experiment is a deduction

It aims to see a small slice of life from a more precise point of view

in order to understand the whole

Just over the horizon we go

Just over the horizon we go

As the walls cave in

We retreat in and in and in

Letting what is dead crumble and fall

Until we’ve gone so deep that we reach the great river within

And without effort

 rise again tall

On Deduction
